Outside the walls of Ul’dah, Luxanna was born to be the first daughter and last child of Lutapo Chalapo and Laladi Ladi. Her mother passed away a few hours after due to illness that plagued her months prior during the pregnancy. In response to such heartbreak, her father and her brothers protected Luxanna dearly, shielding her from any mishap. Her father enrolled her in private schooling, had to have one of her brothers with her at all times when heading into Ul’dah, was never allowed to be alone with customers: it was all too suffocating!As Luxanna had gotten older, her brothers had lightened up on the coddling, with Lutapo’s, however, only tightening. She tended to sneak out to go to the city, much to the hair loss and rising blood pressure of her doting father. Sometimes she would return with some bruises from tripping and climbing, or looking pale from locking herself away on studying magics. Each time she would come home; something new on her person or a new piece of information in her brain. She finally stood up to her father and left home after being left at the altar by her arranged fiancé on her 18th summer. She could no longer take the pity in those who walked passed; those who would spread rumors among the streets and alleyways of what happened in their minds. She took a cart heading east for the Black Shroud, starting her journey on her own.Many years have passed and Gridania became home to the lalafell. Luxanna had studied the art of conjuration, as well as honing her skills in crafts that were not within her grasp back in Ul’dah. She has made unlikely friends in the fuzziest of creatures, who lead her on the path to treasure beyond her wildest dreams. She is not alone on her journeys, for her father had hired a bodyguard in his absence from her side: an elezen named Aunex. She hopes she can make new friends and see all that this star has to offer!
